All you need to create a rimmed, sugar frosted champagne glass is a bowl, corn syrup, champagne glasses and colored sugar.
Begin by pouring the corn syrup in the glass bowl. Don't fill the entire bowl up. You won't be using very much of the syrup. A light coating on the bottom should suffice.
Dip the champagne glass rim first in the corn syrup, making sure to only coat the rim.
Next, dip the glass in a container or colored sugar. Be sure to dip lightly to keep the mess to a minimal and the coated rim looking professional.
Lightly tap off any excess sugar and gently place the glasses on a table to let the sugar set. Within the hour the sugar will be ready and you can start pouring!
