What inspired you to open Prinzzesa?

I’ve always loved fashion and have always helped my friends pick out their outfits—and it seemed they always found their best outfits from my closet. I then realized that I had great buying power that appealed to the masses. Now in my own boutique, which has been in operation for three yeats, I see this talent of mine reaffirmed every day through our many satisfied customers!

How did you come up with the name?

Prinzzesa is a pet name my husband, Izzy, calls me.

Who’s the Prinzzesa customer?

I don’t have a typical customer. Each day I am surprised by how our customer base is growing. The customer age range in my store starts at 13 and ends at around 80! After a year of business, I learned I was a third generation shopping boutique. On the weekends it’s typical to see a daughter shopping with both her mother and her grandmother.

What are some must-have pieces in your own closet right now?

That’s easy. I live in Miami so you must have a long maxi dress, color denim jeans and a collection of beach cover-ups.

What does fashion mean to you?

Everything! I see fashion in clothes, home décor and even in the food I prepare at home. I love to surround myself with beautiful things that appeal to me visually. That is why my husband has always called me Prinzzesa.
