Shoptiques Style Insider: Grease & Glamour

Meet Jinna of Grease & Glamour!

How do you describe your style?

My style is classic with an edge, and a sprinkle of vintage charm.

What is the most exciting moment you've had as a blogger?

This is a hard one. Probably interviewing Joan Rivers backstage at MBFW, or singing for Alexander Wang and Anna Wintour for Vogue's Fashion's Night Out.

What do you love most about boutique shopping?

The comfort in knowing that each piece is curated by the boutique owner - it's like a one stop shop and you don't have to sift around in all of the junk to find great, standout pieces. It also supports small business owners.

What are your three most prized possessions?

Hm...This is a tough one. I would say my Valentino cream, studded lace-up boots, a vintage blouse that once belonged to my grandmother and a simple silver necklace of a shopping bag my father bought me before he passed.

What inspired you to create your blog? What do you love most about blogging?

I was inspired to create my blog to serve as a portfolio and a way into the world of fashion and photography. I love the fact that I can connect with people and create content that promotes discussion. It's also opened up so many doors for me, allowing me to do what I love. I'm now a fashion photographer and host a monthly shopping segment for City Buzz that airs in hotels and airplanes. Just because I started my one blog two years ago!

What are your favorite boutiques in NYC?
