Hi guys! Welcome back to Shoptiques TV.

Today, we are talking about how to wear a brocade dress, the trend we have seen all over the spring 2013 runways and that isn’t going away anytime soon.

If you have yet to buy in to this intricate pattern, be it you can’t find the right silhouette, color or fit, we’ve got you covered. We picked out three brocade dresses that will prove to you that no matter your color or fit preferences; you too can pull it off.

A brocade pattern in a pastel hue plays up on spring color trends, so you can be sure to wear this from now through the summer. A decorative collar adds a more dressed up touch while a synched waist slims your middle.

This skater dress silhouette is great for all body types. The lace detail on the shoulder adds additional texture to the brocade pattern and color and draws on the celebrity styles we have recently seen on the red carpet.

Of course, a more fitted silhouette isn’t necessary for a brocade trend. Go for more of a Downton Abbey look with a looser brocade frock; add intricate jewelry to this darker hue to make the brocade pattern really pop.

If you are going to go for a brocade trend, just remember you don’t have to sacrifice your personal style in order to make it work. If you love pastels over neons or a fitted silhouette over a looser look just be sure to go after a color and a fit that you can’t resist. And, in the meantime, thanks for watching Shoptiques TV.

As always, remember to “BE YOURSELF, BE DIFFERENT.”
