Rare natural gemstones are set on a solid sheet of sterling silver to create this one-of-a-kind gorgeous pin/pendant by Veronica Yellowhorse. Amethyst, lapis, chrysoprase, and amber are set around the center cross carved from reddish orange spiny oyster shell. The piece measures approximately 3 by 3 inches. The silver is oxidized on the front to set off the beautiful colors of the gems. It is polished and shiny on the back. There is a hidden bail on the back to hang it from a chain as well as a pin finding.(Handwoven silver Chain is not included but may be purchased separately on our page). Veronica is from the Keeani clan, which means “Towering Light”, of the Navajo tribe. She grew up in Gallup, New Mexico and now lives with her family in Albuquerque.
