How do you describe your style?
My style is influenced by the colorful diversity of LA's subcultures. I draw inspiration from Silverlake's modern hipster vibe, Hollywood's retro glam past, the posh and prim streets of Beverly Hills, and the boho lifestyle of LA's beach towns.
What is the most exciting moment you've had as a blogger?
The most exciting moment thus far was being selected as the official guest blogger for Saks Fifth Avenue. I got to attend fabulous in-store soirees, interview designers and play dress-up in the ultimate fashionista closet: the Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills store!
What do you love most about boutique shopping?
I love the rush of exhilaration that runs through every vein in my body the moment I spot the perfect, must-have item. I imagine it's what love at first sight feels like.
What are your three most prized possessions?
1. My patent leather, red Gucci pumps. It was my first designer item purchased with my own money!
2. My black quilted Chanel purse. It's timeless. It's beautiful. It's Chanel.
3. My 3.1 Phillip Lim leather jacket. It was sold out everywhere and took me over two months to track it down. I felt like a fashion detective! It was worth the time and effort because it's one of my go-to winter staple pieces.
What inspired you to create your blog? What do you love most about blogging?
I'm a fashion lawyer by day and started my blog as a platform and outlet to express and comment on the lighter and fashionable side of life. Living, breathing and writing about fashion is my passion.
What are your favorite places to shop in LA?
I love Wasteland for its great mix of street and high fashion vintage finds. I also shop at Fred Segal and Planet Blue for their unbeatable selection of easy to wear contemporary pieces. As for accessories, American Rag and Opening Ceremony both have great selections of trendy and chic shoes and handbags that are coveted and hard to find.
