How do you describe your style?
I have a classic style, but like to mix it up with pattern and color. In many ways I have an eclectic wardrobe as I buy things I love, but they don't always work together. I'm more of a bag than shoe person, and believe accessories make the outfit.
What is the most exciting moment you've had as a blogger?
Passing nine millions hits on Hair Romance was amazing, and I can't believe how far it's come in a short time.
What do you love most about boutique shopping?
I love the edit of products that you find in a boutique. It's not a department store where they sell every line, and you get to know the style of the boutique owner. A well curated boutique is a pleasure to shop.
What are your three most prized possessions?
I can't live without my laptop, and I have a few special handbags that double up as laptop cases. I love my Dad's original film camera from the 60s. It still works and it reignited my love of photography. I'm never without my engagement ring and wedding band, which I designed with my husband.
What inspired you to create your blog?
I was always asked how I did my hair so started a blog to share hairstyling tips and tricks. I'm not a hairdresser, but I have friends who are stylists, so I like to see it as translating between the salon and the client. I'm thrilled to see Hair Romance grow into a full time business and I keep finding more things to talk about hair than ever before.
What do you love most about blogging?
The best thing about blogging has to be the community. I love seeing pictures of readers wearing my hairstyles, and loving their hair. Blogging has changed my career and brought me a freedom to travel which I love too.
What are your favorite boutiques in your current city?
I live in Sydney, Australia and my favorite boutiques are Pretty Dog in Newtown, The Corner Store in Paddington and Mushu in Surry Hills.
