This film is called “Samurai”. It is first one in a series featuring a different female caught in a traditional activity such as hanging laundry, ironing, or sewing.
"Samurai" features a woman with a samurai sword slashing through a dozen white sheets hanging on laundry lines. When she slashes through the last one, she’s suddenly wearing a gorgeous modern outfit and feeling empowered.
Through these films, we want to inspire women to reimagine themselves. Shoptiques empowers women to do anything they want, and have the fashion they deserve: one-of-a-kind products for their own unique personalities. #dresstokill
The films were created by StrawberryFrog, directed by Yana Martsynkevych at Naive Productions, Stockholm Sweden, and produced by Alice Ängby. “Samurai” can be seen on digital channels, including a digital billboard in Times Square and on Taxi TVs.
